Carnival at the girls school

They had the end of the year carnival at the girls school on May 15th...it was rainy all week, wondered how the weather would do, but thankfully it was actually pretty nice (little cloudy) and they were able to do it outdoors! Here are pics...it was full of games for the kids, bounce houses, snacks and a silent auction (which I won, YES!!! this cute little picture frame that Hailey's class did, I will post a picture of it later, didn't think about it until now).

First off, Caitlin wanted a sucker...so that is where we went first...

They had a petting zoo which the girls loved... Hailey petting the rabbit.

Mini horse...

Daddy helping Hailey pose in the princess...Caitlin didn't want anything to do with it

Fishing...

...they are pros :)

Driving the cars around...

And the most shocking thing...Caitlin actually let them spray her hair!!!!! She did not want a face painting AT all though...but she let them do her hair! It was cute.

And Hailey of course let them do her hair AND face...didn't get a good pic of her face but it was a butterfly...

Stopping by the petting zoo again...

My Mom came and stopped by...nice surprise for the girls. Gigi was helping Hailey climb EVERY single one of those polls...silly girl.

And she has been ALL about the monkey bars lately...you have to help her slightly though :)

She did better on this one...

And of course Caitlin had to try it too...

Mothers Day 2010

This year, I was reading the food network magazine and saw this pretty picture...and thought, I could do this!! I figured I'd make it for Jeff's Mom since she has lunch and I figured all the kids would enjoy it most... so here is the pic of theirs... very pretty and clean and neat....

And this is mine :( It was very simple to make (as far as the pot, getting a stick from outside, painting the foam ball pink and the one in the pot green) but those darn cupcakes...they were NOT easy to put on...and then I got this spray icing because I figured it would be easiest...but boy that was a joke. It was only easy once it started to dry but it didn't' form very good, LOL!! I guess for a first go around -- it wasn't THAT bad :)

And of course -- I didn't get a picture of me and my girls...I always say I need/want to get a picture of us and forgot :( They were sweet though and made me cute little home made cards/drawings...

Clay Walker May 1, 2010

Stacy and I made our annual trip to see Clay Walker when he came into town at the beginning of May... I REALLY debated on spending like $100 to buy his VIP tickets (which included a private show, meeting, etc) but when I finally talked to Stacy and agreed to just DO IT - they didn't have anymore, guess it was for the better...lol. But the week before the show, I did a random thing on his website for a meet and greet - didn't think much of it, since I do it for every concert (since I am in his fan club). And I think it was Wed before the Sat show, I got an email saying I'd get to meet him!!!!!!!!!!! I was soooooo stocked!!!!

Got to chat with him for a few mins and get a picture! He hugged me and put his arm around me!! Eee -- i'm still giddy about it!! :)

Stacy and I during the concert - its a little blurry but we asked the people sitting across from us to take the pic :)

Stacy and I at dinner...pretty good pic of us :)

AND -- by random the day of the concert, Jeff decided to go with us!! Stacy was dealing with some personal stuff and I wanted to be able to take her out and REALLY have fun but didn't want to drink myself if I had to drive her home...so Adria said she'd come over and watch the girls...so Jeff went with us, and what a trooper he was!! Such an old man and didn't enjoy the club at all...he sat by himself (because we bought our tickets way in advance, he just got a general admission ticket) while we enjoyed the show and took care of both our drunk butts!
I love him so much!!!

And boy do I love THIS man ;-)

Such a great show...as always!!!

Caitlin's Sing with Me at School 4/28/2010

Caitlin had her "end of the year" program which is just a little sing with me at school with her class, to show what they learned in music the past year. She LOVES to sing, always making up her own songs - singing songs from school and church but for whatever reason...she decided she was going to have stage fright! For the most part, most the kids sang along, only a few seemed hesitant at first but Caitlin needed to sit in Mommy's lap the entire time. And has to go POTTY right in the middle of it too...lol! Here are a few pics!

Itsy Bitsy Spider...

I can't remember what this one was but they roll the ball to each other...

This was cute with the scarf thing...this was 2 different songs they use that for.

Peek a Boo!!

Little Update...

Okay...so now that I am caught up on blogs, AGAIN...I figured I'd post a quick update. Things have been good around here, staying busy with orders and Jeff with jobs, thankfully. The girls are going into the last month of school now before SUMMER!!!!!!!! We are in the works FINALLY of getting my van fixed, hopefully will be able to put it in the shop next week or at the latest the week after.

I have been so busy with my orders...I haven't taken the time to do my own daughters letters. Granted, I did do letters for them which is how I got started doing this all in the first place, but I haven't been able to RE-DO their letters with ones that I wanted...and I finally did it! I picked my most popular design, one that Jeff really likes too...but changed the colors up. I did the same colors and the same design for both but did purple for Hailey and blue for Caitlin... After seeing them on their walls, I REALLY want to paint Caitlin's room now...LOL!!! She did pick out this cool green/aqua color before...so maybe we'll take her in and let her pick a color. She just doesn't really have a favorite color like Hailey does (purple!) Plus, I have been waiting because I know once she gets out of her crib, we'll want to do a big transition deal with her room but oh well - guess we can always do that sooner :)

These are the flowers I painted on Hailey's wall...back when I we painted her room purple.

See how plain Cailtin's look on the white wall :(

Caitlin swinging at Nana & Papa's the day we picked them up after they stayed the night... I love the way she has her leg crossed...and wearing her cool sunglasses.

Both the girls...they were looking at Belle! LOL!

Hahahaha - the other day the girls came over for Sun lunch with Jeff's parents and they decided to stay before church. I don't think the weather was that great but they wanted to play in the water hose...well turns out they played in the mud. Caitlin was NOT a happy camper! LOL! I was actually shocked she stayed out there as long as she did...but she did of course come in before everyone else and had to have a bath ASAP because "eww get it off". haha!

Daddy helping his girls fish at Aunt Ree's...

See Buster in the background... hehe!

Adria's Birthday & Mommy/Daddy night out!!

Thanks to Nana & Papa the girls spent the night with them on Friday night and we went to dinner with Adria, Brian, her Dad & son for her birthday at a cool place, Primo's Bar & Grille on Lake Ray Hubbard. There was a band playing, some guy that graduated with Jeff (although he didn't really know him, but Adria did)...actually a pretty good band. The weather was BEAUTIFUL and it was just nice!!!

Cute pic of Adria & I...

My hubby & I...

This was his idea of a "good" picture...lol! I do have to admit though, we all laughed so hard we were almost crying...at how perfect it was that he did this right as she took the picture!!

Austin (3rd) and Alex (2nd) Birthday Party

Stacy is very lucky in the way that she can have both the girls party together since their birthdays are only like a month apart, granted...I know this won't go on forever but while they are young - that's great! :) She did their party at Abbey's Playtown in Grand Prairie, a cute place for smaller kids (I'd say under 5) to play. The girls had a BLAST and were not ready to leave for us to go to church...I'll be taking them back there soon for their pop in playtime!

Cute cookie cake idea

Birthday boy, Austin

Birthday boy, Alex

The set up for the party room was really cute - I liked how they have little tables for the kids like this...the girls TORE UP some pizza!!!

Hailey riding the horse...

Rock climbing...

She did NOT want to leave this magician cape...I had to take it off of her, pass it to someone else while someone else distracted her...LOL!!! I told her we'd have to look around for one that we can buy her...
