Hailey Update

We took her to see Dr. Tammi today - it was a big appointment with lots going on. First let me start with she went yesterday and got her ultrasound of her kidneys, was hoping to get results today at the doc appt but we didn't (more on that in a minute). As for today's appointment, she got her stitch out. Dr. Tammi heard the entire story and looked at it and thought just like we did, she should of had two stitches since it was a longer cut and you can see where the one end of the it is more open and scabbing now but nothing we can do about it now, we have an ointment to put on it now until it totally heals and then she recommend we do a merdema type cream to reduce the scar. She also had another urine test today and it showed to be clear but she is still going to send it off for a culture. She is done with her antibiotics on Friday so I am guessing depending on what the culture shows & what the ultrasound shows, we MAY need to take her in next week to re-test her urine once she is totally off the meds. I am hoping though it is gone and everything is fine, it was just stubborn or something and didn't want to stay gone. :) She said she'd have the ultrasound results tomorrow and will call when she knows what they show (if anything).

She did pretty well today with the stitch, she panicked more then anything because she thought it was going to hurt and didn't want to believe us when we told her it wouldn't. We pretty much held her down, did it quick and she was fine. She is my trooper! :)
