Halloween was a little different this year for us but it still was a good one...
After going Monday night to buy Hailey's last minute costume (thankfully we found a REALLY cute one), remind me never to procrastinate and buy at the last minute. Granted things were different this year with Caitlin being born and me not being able to go out and get a costume but I should be prepared and buy it EARLY (beginning of Oct).
Anyway, Halloween we wanted to head out around 5pm but got a late start at 6pm because of Hailey napping then Caitlin needing to eat, etc. We first went to Aunt Nita's house and visited with them and then went to Aunt Lou's. We were going to go by my parents next but because we were running late and turned out my brother was too, we did our Halloween with them on Thurs night. We then were going to meet Shawna & the girls at the church for the Trunk & Treat at 7pm but by the time we got that direction, they were already at the church and finished! It didn't take as long as we all thought to go to all the trunks... so we went by Wendy & Mondo's to see them before going to Mike & Cindy's.
It was nice to get out and let everyone see Caitlin too... Aunt Nita & Lou hadn't seen her at all (or Mondo) and Wendy had only seen her for a few mins right after she was born.
On our way home since we hadn't seen the girls yet, we went by their house and hung out for a few...
All in and all, it was a good Halloween even if it was a little different. :)
