Enjoying Parenthood: Fun at Aunt Ree's (Lake Granbury)

We had Sun lunch at Ann-Marie & Blake's house yesterday, they live on Lake Granbury for those who don't know. Jeff was excited because he'd be able to fish and take his boat out! He did fish most of the time we were there and was finally able to take the boat out for about an hour and it was freeeeeeeeeezing!!!! Really stinks that Saturday was beautiful and hot but Sunday was overcast and chilly, and I know being right off the lake didn't help with it being a little cooler then everywhere else. The sun did finally come through and it warmed up a little but when your on a boat with tiny bits of water splashing you, it's COLD! And crazy Blaine (Jeff's nephew) went swimming in it!! We took him out on the boat and he said he wanted to jump in, granted he debated it by telling jokes for about 5 mins before jumping in but he did finally get in (and I know had to be freezing, even though he said it was like bath water).
We got lots of pics with Caitlin & Caleb... she is soo cute. They came in (The Hernandez clan) and she started to stare at Caleb and started "talking" and to all of us it really sounded like she was saying "hi". Shawna was holding her at the time and she moved over closer to them, at first Caleb wasn't sure about her but he warmed up. She was just SOOOO fascinated with him. It was cute!!!

On another note, the girls are both doing really good. Caitlin is trying so hard to crawl. She can now go backwards! :) And she is getting on her knees now and able to rock but can't go forward yet... she still enjoys baby food, some less then others but that's expected. She doesn't seem to care for peas and green beans or peaches but everything else she eats okay. Nursing is still going well, she sure knows who Mommy is when she is hungry! LOL
We went to Springcreek the other night and she TORE UP a few french fries and a roll! It was sooo cute to watch her eating them! Then yesterday Shawna gave her some bread, pasta salad and tea from her cup! At first I hesitate and don't want her to have any of it but I have to remind myself that she is 6 months and Hailey was getting all that & more at that age from her Daddy.
