Girls Well Check

Both girls are doing great!! Here are their stats:

Hailey: On the "baby scale naked" (she usually uses the big girl scale and is dressed) she weighed 23lbs 6 oz, 33in tall and head is 18 1/2 in. She is right on the mark with her height & weight and her head is still a little big but that's okay, but then again it needs to be for all her smartness she gets from her Daddy (he told me to add that, haha). She was sure to show off for Dr. Tammi talking up a storm and running around the exam room. She does still have the snot in her nose from the "cold" but her ears and throat look great. She got 1 shot and cried but got over it VERY quick and then we went to the lab and had to get her finger pricked and she did really well... she pointed her finger (she wanted the nurse to use her pointer finger) but she let the nurse have her middle finger and she didn't cry till right at the end but the other nurse in the room gave her stickers and she was over it. Took a nap in the car on the way home and seems to be fine now! :)

Caitlin: She has gained SIX OUNCES in a week! yah!!! She is now 10lbs 6oz, 22 in long and head is 15 1/2 in. Dr. Tammi said her height & weight are perfect and in the 3rd % which is fine, said she is not at all concerned with her because she is perfectly proportioned :-D Everything checked out great with her and as we were talking about what all she can do now (laugh, talking all the time, smiling, rolls from tummy to back) she rolled from back to tummy!!! Guess she felt she needed to be a show off for Dr. Tammi too ;-) She said to continue with her cereal 2-3 times a day and the oatmeal is fine for the morning, said I should be nursing 3-4 times a day (which I am, if not a few more) so we're doing good!! She got FOUR shots and an oral thing that she drank sooo good, even the nurse made a comment about how she did good (usually the babies spit it out). She cried but she got over it after I was able to pick her up. Dr. Tammi also had them do the catheter again (I was able to go with her and held her legs this time, she did really good - only cried for a few mins and stopped as soon as they were done) to test her urine and it came back NORMAL! They are sending it off for another culture and when it comes back negative (which I have a strong feeling it will) they'll call us in to do the other test (sonogram) she wants to run to be safe.

Just thought I'd update, time to put both girls down for a nap now.
